    As a Chaplain of the Summer Camp, I offer encouragement and spiritual support to the Scout leaders and camp staff at Boxwell Reservation in Lebanon, Tennessee. This is given through an annual breakfast speech for leaders and staff at the beginning of the summer. It is continued in weekly chapel services where Boy Scouts from all over the region come to be encouraged and focus on their faith on God while attending camp. I also occasionally speak at various other Boy Scout events throughout the…

    On Thursday, June 12, 2014, the Hendersonville Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual awards celebration, "A Night Among the Stars" presented by Hendersonville Medical Center at Bluegrass Yacht & Country Club in Hendersonville.

    “This is an opportunity for members to come together in a relaxed setting and celebrate the accomplishments of member companies. This annual event has become a favorite and with a new format built around networking and fellowship we expect to see a lot of members make this a fun night out for themselves and their staff,” stated Chamber President/CEO Brenda S. Payne.

    Small Business of the Year is recognized as member companies whose business demonstrates financial success, progressive management, superior customer service and concern for the community.

    We were one of only 11 business nominated for this award. Results will be posted in June.

    In April 2014, we were presented with the Annual Innovator Award for our commitment and service to the City of Gallatin, Tennessee. Our innovations in energy efficiency were recognized by our peers and leaders in the business community. In the City of Gallatin alone, we have been responsible for helping reduce nearly 8 gigawatt hours of electricity through innovative LED lighting retrofits and HVAC efficiency upgrades.
